Gulp is a very powerful build tool for front end development which is commonly used in AngularJS applications. With the advent of Angular, a new tool has emerged to simplify building of web applications, the Angular CLI. It leverages the power of Webpack internally to create small and fast bundles.
In this talk, we will use Angular CLI to migrate an existing AngularJS application to Angular from the ground up. Initially we will bootstrap it as a hybrid application using ngUpgrade module. We will then start upgrading first services and then components. Finally, we will integrate the new Angular router and remove AngularJS completely from the project.
